Where to eat Ginza
-

Depachika Ginza Mitsukoshi Food Garden銀座三越 ギンザフードガーデン
Three basement floors of food off the crossing — main building B2 and B3 plus the annex — holding a wagashi counter, a cellar of wine, shochu, sake and beer, a tea counter, a fresh-produce market, the Käfer delicatessen and the Johan bakery. B2 and B3 both have eat-in tables, which is the part most department stores do not offer.

Fresh-food basement Matsuya Ginza Food Stage松屋銀座 GINZAフードステージ
The B2 floor is a working market rather than a hall of gift boxes: two fishmongers, a tofu maker, a greengrocer, a rice dealer, a miso shop and a pickle counter, all of it three minutes from the 4-chome crossing.

Since 1869 Kimuraya Sohonten Ginza木村屋總本店 銀座本店
Anpan was devised here. The house's own record has Kimura Yasubei selling the sake-yeast version from the Ginza 4-chome shop completed in 1874, and a chamberlain presenting it to Emperor Meiji the year after — after which the bakery joined the imperial household's suppliers.

Since 1934 Beer Hall Lion Ginza 7-chomeビヤホールライオン 銀座七丁目店
The company calls this the oldest beer hall still standing in Japan: built in 1934, with a glass mosaic of 250 colours filling the end wall and grape motifs — for abundance — worked into the chandeliers. Three chome south of the crossing.
Asked about English menus and access
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government asked 210 restaurants across the city what they can offer a visitor. These are the ones near this station. A restaurant that is not here simply was not asked.
