Two Keio routes to Shinjuku
Two Keio routes meet here. Keio Line trains run direct to Shinjuku platforms 1–3; Keio New Line trains run via Hatagaya and Hatsudai to platforms 4–5 on B5F.
A train for Hatsudai or Hatagaya is therefore a New Line train — Keio Line trains from here pass both without stopping.
New Line trains continue beyond Shinjuku onto the Toei Shinjuku Line toward Motoyawata.

Which car to board still isn't here — it exists as posters on the platform and in no open dataset at all. Live service status covers the four Toei lines only, on their line pages: Tokyo Metro's feed is open data, but its terms don't allow passing it on the way this site delivers live information.
